About Me

Painting is my life and passion. I have been drawing and painting since age nine in a representational style with a bit of impressionism that seems to creep in. Art is my genetic blessing! I have two cousins who are also artists. Art education began in high school and then on to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (the best years of my life!). I now involve myself with on-going artists workshops and display venues throughout Minnesota.

Landscapes are my favorite to paint because there are almost endless ideas to explore. Nature is infinite. Exciting ideas come to me every day for new paintings. Some of those new ideas are scenes from Ireland and Italy.
